For the sixth year in a row, Delaware County’s Emergency Medical Services Department has received the American Heart Association’s Mission: Lifeline EMS Gold Award for the treatment of patients who experience severe heart attacks. Sunbury Man Found Guilty, Faces Life Sentence

13 Jun , 2019  

After a three-day jury trial and testimony from eight witnesses, 51-year-old David Nunley of Sunbury was found guilty this month of multiple counts of sexual assault against three minors, including rape and gross sexual imposition according to a press release from the Delaware County Prosecutor’s Office.

Nunley was charged in February 2019, after an investigation by the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office. More…

Three County Trail Projects Receive Funding

Three multi-use trail projects in Delaware County have been selected by the Delaware County Trails Committee to receive funding from its assistance program.

State Route To Close For Two Weeks

A well-traveled Delaware County thoroughfare will be “down for the count” over the next two weeks as culvert replacement work takes place.

On section of State Route 257 will be closed beginning on Monday at 8 AM until Friday, March 22 at 3 PM. The affected area will be between US36 and Penn Road.

The official detour is as follows: SR 257 to US 36 to Section Line Road to US40 to SR257 – or, of course, the reverse. More…
