Genoa Township has shared the following information about the upcoming election.

Voters will decide three Genoa-specific issues on their ballots this November:

  • Genoa Township Trustee: Vote for one person to join the Board of Trustees serving a four-year term.
  • Genoa Township Fiscal Officer: Vote for one person to serve a four-year term as Fiscal Officer.
  • Genoa Township Roads & Bridges Levy: A 1.1 mill replacement and a 1 mill increase for a total of 2.1 mills. The estimated property tax revenue produced is estimated to be $2,270,770 annually over the five-year term. Property owners can expect to pay $6.125 per month ($73.50 annually) per $100,000 valuation should the levy be passed by voters. A property valued by the Delaware County Auditor at $320,000 can expect to pay $19.60 per month ($235.20 annually). Learn more at GenoaTwp.com/RoadLevy

Voter registration deadline is October 7. Early in-person voting will take place at the Early Voting Center located at 2079 U.S. Highway 23 N, Delaware, Ohio 43015 beginning on October 8 and ending at 2 PM on November 4, the day before the election. On election day all polls will be open 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM.

Absentee voting by mail also begins on October 8 and ballot submissions must be postmarked by November 4. The deadline to request an absentee ballot is noon on November 2.
