Delaware County’s farmers’ markets are picking up steam as spring turns into summer. Here is information about three of them:
Name: 15th Annual Sunbury Farmers’ Market
Where: Sunbury Square
When: From 9:00 AM to 12 Noon each Saturday beginning on May 18 and ending on October 12 – rain or shine
Details: Vendors will be on hand to offer home-grown and handmade items for your shopping pleasure. This season’s market is being sponsored by The Middlefield Bank in Sunbury. As of April 5, vendor space is still available. The Sunbury Farmers’ Market Facebook page is here.

Name: Powell Farmers’ Market
Where: 240 North Liberty Street
When: May 18 thru September 28 (every Saturday), from 9:00 AM to 12 Noon
Details: There are new and returning vendors. Available vendors: Owls Roost Farm, The Pie Man, Maple Mist Farms, Hidden Acres Farms, Made Without Grain, Java Central Coffee, Frost Top Root Beer, Jose Madrid Salsa, Darby Plains Farms, and Carriage Gardens. More vendors added as the season progresses.

Where: Historic Downtown Delaware
When: May 25 thru October 26 — Wednesdays, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM; Saturdayas, 9:00 AM to noon
Details: Available: seasonal fresh produce, plants and flowers, baked goods, homemade items and more. Something for everyone!
