ODOT District 6 has released its weekly report highlighting road construction projects which are beginning or underway in the multi-county area it serves. What follows are posted projects taking place within Delaware County and Franklin County.
Please stay safe and pay attention to these closures and work taking place during the week beginning on September 26.
DELAWARE COUNTY
NEW IMPACTS
Hudson Rd. between Horseshoe Rd. and Panhandle Rd. will close starting 7 a.m., Wednesday, September 29 through 5 p.m., Friday, October 1 for pavement repairs. Detour: Horseshoe Rd. to U.S. 42 to U.S. 36 to U.S. 23 to Panhandle Rd. or reverse.
U.S. Route 36
CONTINUING IMPACTS
U.S. 36 Intersection Safety Improvement – The intersection of U.S. 36 and SR 257 will have daily lane restrictions (7 a.m. – 5 p.m.) starting Monday, August 2 through October 2021 for traffic signal installation. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.
FRANKLIN COUNTY
NEW IMPACTS
Olentangy River Rd. between Highland Drive and Henderson Rd. will have daily lane restrictions (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) starting Monday, September 27 through Friday, October 1.
Interstate 71
NEW IMPACTS
- The I-270 eastbound ramp to I-71 southbound will close nightly (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.) Sunday, September 26 through Thursday, September 30.
- Detour: I-71 northbound to Frank Rd. westbound to I-71 southbound
- The I-270 westbound ramp to I-71 southbound will close nightly (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.) Sunday, September 26 through Thursday, September 30.
- Detour: I-71 northbound to Frank Rd. westbound to I-71 southbound.
- The I-71 southbound ramp to Stringtown Rd. will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) Sunday, September 26 through Thursday, September 30.
- Detour: I-71 southbound to SR 665 to I-71 northbound to Stringtown Rd.
Interstate 670
- The I-71 southbound ramp to I-670 eastbound will close overnight (11 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Sunday, September 26.
- Detour: I-71 southbound to I-670 eastbound to Leonard Ave. to I-670 westbound.
- The Spring St. ramp to I-670 eastbound will close overnight (7 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Monday, September 27.
- Detour: I-71 northbound to 11th Ave. to I-71 southbound to I-670 eastbound.
- The Cleveland Ave./SR 3 ramp to I-670 eastbound will close overnight (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Monday, September 27.
- Detour: Cleveland Ave. southbound to Long St. eastbound to I-71 northbound/I-670 eastbound.
- The I-71 northbound ramp to I-670 eastbound will close overnight (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Monday, September 27.
- Detour: Hamilton/Leonard Ave. to St. Clair Ave. northbound to E. 5th Ave. westbound to I-71 southbound/I-670 eastbound.

- The I-270 westbound ramps to Sawmill Rd. will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, September 26 through Tuesday, September 28.
- Detour: I-270 westbound to Tuttle Crossing Blvd. to I-2670 eastbound to Sawmill Rd.
- The Sawmill Rd. northbound and southbound ramps to I-270 westbound will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, September 26 through Tuesday, September 28.
