The City of Powell is hosting the annual Candy by the Carload which will occur from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Saturday at the Municipal Building Parking Lot, 47 Hall Street.
The parking lot will be transformed into a trick-or-treater’s treasure chest as local businesses and organizations set up booths and car trunks filled with candy, toys and other Halloween goodies.
Admission is free; however, guests are encouraged to bring a canned food item to donate to People In Need, Inc. of Delaware County.
Parking is available in the south grassy lot of Village Green Park or public spaces in downtown Powell.
