Delaware County Now At Orange Level In Ohio Public Health Advisory System

A day after the announcement by Governor DeWine about the termination of most pandemic health orders, it was learned that hard work by Delaware Countians to remain vigilant about the COVID-19 virus, including state-leading vaccination rates, has had a positive result.

On Thursday, the Ohio Department of Health announced that Delaware County had fallen to Level 2, or “Orange Level” on the Ohio Public Health Advisory System for the first time since October of last year.

Two of that system’s “indicators” were met this week — that of new cases per capita and the percentage of cases which are in non-congregate settings. More…
