On Saturday, Tractor Supply Company, the largest rural lifestyle retail chain in the United States, announced the opening of its 1,800th store by launching grand opening celebration at the new store in Berkshire Township, just west of Sunbury.

Sunbury Seeks New Village Councilperson

There is an immediate opening for the position of Sunbury Village Councilperson.   A six-person council serves as the legislative authority of the Village.

Council meets the first, third and fifth Wednesdays of each month at 7:30 PM with additional committee meetings as assigned. The selected candidate would serve subject to all applicable laws for the unexpired term of a prior councilperson through December 31, 2021.  The position receives a stipend of $1900 per year, paid monthly.
