The City is introducing a new way for residents to support the Westerville Helps program. Residents can help fund the program through monthly contributions via their utility bills or, now, by making a single donation through an online portal.

Introduced in 2020, Westerville Helps is the City’s financial assistance program offering residents in need reduced or waived fees for utility bills, sidewalk maintenance, home improvements and also Parks and Recreation programming.

The new portal allows residents to donate without having to log in to the utility billing portal. Simply click on the button marked “donate now” at www.westerville.org/helps and complete the form. As with online utility bill payments, a transaction fee will apply.

Residents interested in contributing monthly are encouraged to email westervillehelps@westerville.org or call (614) 901-6430. There is no transaction fee for this option.

More than 50 households have benefitted from the program since January 2020. Residents needing financial assistance may apply for the program. Applications can be printed from the City’s website and mailed to the City of Westerville Utility Billing Division at 64 E. Walnut St. Westerville, Ohio 43081.
