Some good holiday news greeted Delaware County residents and travelers who regularly use US42.

The closure of the roadway occurred this past May after torrential rains caused a large sinkhole to appear and take part of the highway with it. 1808Delaware covered the situation at that time, and again in September when the Ohio Department of Transporrtation provided a repair update.

The stretch of road between Joy Avenue and Horseshoe Road has now been fully repaired and is completely accessible.
