Special to 1808Delaware

The City of Powell Parks & Recreation Department is offering a variety of virtual and in-person programs for this winter and spring. Online registration for classes is now underway for residents and non-residents.

“The City of Powell is pleased to present a variety of programs for all ages this winter and spring,” said City Manager Andrew White. “We’re offering a range of programs from sports and fitness to arts and youth safety. Programs will be offered at various times throughout the day to help children take a break from their hybrid or virtual learning schedule and participate in enrichment activities.”

As part of the city’s overall efforts to create more workflow and budget efficiencies, the winter/spring guide has not been printed and mailed. Classes are published online with more information, dates and times.

Instructors will provide guidelines in advance. Please remember to stay home if you’re sick or waiting on the results of a COVID-19 test. We ask that you keep a safe social distance at all times and wear a mask.
