Delaware Countians with a sweet tooth have another option for satisfying that craving.

J’s Sweet Treats arrives at Polaris Fashion Place Mall this Friday.

According to its website, the operation started as a pop-up and then a full fledged bakery on Parsons Avenue in Columbus. The new bakery is located in the former Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory location at Polaris.

J’s specializes in edible art, luxury wedding cakes, custom smash cakes, and more.

A look at the “Our Work” section of the J’s Sweet Treats website is itself a treat. Be sure to let the photos reload to see the full range of the bakery’s products.

“Sometimes it feels surreal what we’ve built from a part-time side hustle in my kitchen,” Owner Juana Williams said in a prepared statement. “We opened our first brick-and-mortar on Parsons last March, just over a week before the state-mandated COVID shutdowns. Though foot traffic has been light considering, it has genuinely been a record-breaking year for us for custom cake orders. We are looking forward to this expansion—eager and ready for the opportunity to introduce the brand to additional Central Ohio communities.”

J’s Sweet Treats will be holding its ribbon cutting and grand operating this Friday. You can find more on the company’s Facebook page.

This is a sweet syear at the Mall, as Shelby’s Sugar Shop recently joined the mix of eateries and food vendors there.
