The staff at the student-run Hayes Talisman, the news operation at Delaware Hayes High School, suggest sbuying local this holiday season.

In fact, they suggest “A few ideas to get gifts checked off your shopping list, while supporting local downtown Delaware businesses this holiday season.”

Their Downtown Delaware holiday gift guide is broken down into sections. Each includes a gift idea, where it can be found downtown, and a photo of each.

Sections include “Gifts for the Holiday Lovers,” “Gifts for the local pride lovers,” Gifts for the hard to buy for,” Gifts for the creative and music lovers,” and a photo essay of highlighted businesses.

The post was contributed by Kristen Smith, Visual Content Editor, and can be found here.

Links to posts from the Hayes Talisman can be found on a regular basis in the Delaware County News, and also on our weekday enewsletter, 1808AM. We are happy to promote this student publication which is training the next generation of media.
