As part of its ongoing changes to meet customer needs and traffic changes, Delaware County Transit has announced an upcoming change to its schedule. In fact, the company is adding an entirely new express line to its system.

Having discontinued its Delaware City Fixed Routes and replaced the same with its new FLEX service, which practically offers curb to curb services, the decision was made to replace the DCT Green Route. That line will be replaced by the new DCT Express route, which begins on August 1.

The new DCT Express Route schedule will be as follows:

Monday through Friday

Run #1:

Depart Delaware Park Avenue Hub – 6:10 AM, Arrive OhioHealth Westerville – 6:45 AM
Depart OhioHealth Westerville – 7:01 AM, Arrive Delaware Park Avenue Hub – 7:45 AM

Run #2:

Depart OhioHealth Westerville – 5:30 PM, Arrive Delaware Park Avenue Hub – 6:10 PM
Depart Delaware Park Avenue Hub – 6:15 PM, Arrive OhioHealth Westerville – 6:55 PM

Riders must still call in advance, at least before noon the previous weekday, to request a Demand Response pick up. Please also be aware that DCT is offering FREE rides within Delaware County to non-drive thru locations to get a COVID shot through the end of the year.
