It’s County Fair Week in Delaware County, as the latest edition of the event dating back to 1834 takes place from September 17-24.

The Fair hosts many outstanding events including five days of the best in harness racing capped off by the prestigious Little Brown Jug on Thursday as well as displays from 100’s of exhibitors and a full schedule of motor sports events in the motor sports complex ranging from demolition derbies to rough truck competitions.

This year, the Delaware County Agricultural Society in partnership with the Delaware County Township Association is offering a dollar off admittance to the 2022 Delaware County Fair to all Delaware County Township residents.

The Delaware County Township Association(DCTA) is a countywide organization dedicated to promoting and preserving township government, through educational forums and lobbying efforts. The association was founded in the 60s, and includes all 18 townships in the county.

For Genoa Township residents, for instance, the discount can be had by going to the website listed below and at checkout enter GENOA into the promotional code field.

Residents of other townships should contact their township office for discount details.

Below is the general fair admittance information. Note that this year there is a Senior and Veteran’s Day that allow you to enter for free with proof you qualify as a senior or veteran.
