On Wednesday, February 1, the City Council for the City of Sunbury will hold a regular meeting to consider several matters.

The meeting will be held at 7:30 PM in Council Chambers, located on the Third Floor of the Town Hall at 51 East Cherry Street.

First on the agenda will be a public hearing on four applications requesting the addition of certain real property, respectively consisting of ±84.206 acres, ±99.766 acres, ±2 acres and ±11 acres (±196.972 acres total), to the Sunbury Meadows Community Development Authority District and to amend the original Petition for the establishment of the Sunbury Meadows Community Development Authority as a New Community Authority under Chapter 349 of the Ohio Revised Code.

Legislation being considered includes the following:

A first reading of RESOLUTION 2023.02 A resolution authorizing the execution of a working agreement with the Delaware Soil and Water Conservation District.

A second reading of RESOLUTION NO. 2023.XX A resolution approving the addition of certain parcels of real property to the Sunbury Meadows Community Development Authority and amending the petition for establishment of the Sunbury Meadows Community Development Authority as a new community authority under Chapter 349 of the Ohio Revised Code.

Third readings of the following:

ORDINANCE 2022.50 (Tabled) An ordinance approving the commercial and industrial site plan and building application of Cutler Properties Ltd for the construction of storage buildings at 601 W Cherry St.

ORDINANCE NO. 2023.02 An ordinance approving the application of Randy Loebig on behalf of Highland Real Estate to rezone approximately 39.9+/- acres of property owned by Kirk’s Creek Investment LLC located south of US 36/SR 37 and north of Cheshire Road from R-2 Low Density Residential District and R-4 Multifamily District to Planned Residence District in accordance with the City of Sunbury Zoning Code.
