Two adventurous entrepreneurs, who grew tired of their typical 9-5 routines, have transformed their passion for international cuisine into a thriving business.

Hailing from Cleveland, the duo set out to explore the world and sample a diverse array of foods. After journeying across the country and around the globe, they returned to their home state with a desire to share their culinary discoveries.

Their journey has now brought them to Delaware County.

In 2019, they opened their first CRMD ice cream shop in the Short North neighborhood of Columbus and the shop quickly became a local favorite. The new location, now open at 5915 Evans Farm Dr. Suite G (in Evans Farm) continues the chain’s reputation for delicious and different flavors.

Customers can enjoy such unique ice cream options as “Nilla Cookie Dough,” “Matcha,” “Choco Marsh Swirl,” “Cereal and Milk,” and the shop’s signature Ohio buckeye flavor. Vegan options are available, as are other tasty treats such as mango sorbet or strawberry ice cream.

Visitors have the choice of a traditional waffle cone or the unique “puffle,” an egg batter based cone popular in Macau and Hong Kong.

Hours at CRMD are 4 to 11 PM Monday through Thursday, 4 PM to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and 4 PM to 10 PM on Sundays. The charming shop invites ice cream enthusiasts from all over Ohio to experience a taste of the world and enjoy their bold, unforgettable flavors.

The chain’s website can be accessed here.
