  • New Permit for AIC of Ohio LLC:
    Located at 59 Potter Street, AIC of Ohio LLC is also requesting D2 and D3 permits. This approval would enable broader beverage offerings at the site, supporting a growing entertainment scene in Delaware.
  • Liquor Permit Transfer to TRACBR LLC:
    The transfer involves a D2 and D3 permit currently held by BROES LLC (doing business as Buns Restaurant) to TRACBR LLC, covering the courtyard-only space at 12-14 W Winter Street. This adjustment aims to enhance outdoor dining experiences in the heart of downtown Delaware.

  • As Delaware continues to see residential and commercial growth, this expansion could provide more effective administration of public services and projects, benefiting the broader community.

Creating Rutherford Acres Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District

  • Ordinance No. 24-69 proposes establishing the Rutherford Acres Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Incentive District. If approved, it would incentivize development by providing property tax exemptions on improvements within the district.
  • Revenue from the district, generated through service payments in lieu of taxes, would fund public infrastructure improvements, such as roadways and utilities. The annexation request, filed by RiverbyBerlin LLC, involves land located near Berlin Station Road and Pollock Road, signaling further expansion in Delaware’s northern corridor.
