The stage is set, the disco ball is primed, and the sounds of ABBA are about to echo through the halls of Buckeye Valley High School. For one weekend only, the BV Baron Stage will transform into a sun-kissed Greek island for the high-energy, feel-good musical “Mamma Mia!”, brought to life by Buckeye Valley High School and International Thespian Society Troupe #6950.

This year’s spring musical promises to be nothing short of spectacular. With a powerhouse ensemble of student performers, dazzling choreography, and a heartwarming story infused with laughter and timeless hits, “Mamma Mia!” is primed to be a smash hit.

Set on a picturesque island paradise, the musical tells the story of a young woman on the eve of her wedding who invites three men from her mother’s past to discover the identity of her father. What follows is a joyful journey filled with love, discovery, and the unmistakable magic of ABBA songs like Dancing Queen, Take a Chance on Me, and Mamma Mia.

Directed by Hannah Fuller, choreographed by Kim Bradshaw, with Jen Moncrief as Musical Director and Abby Chrismer as Assistant Director, the show features a dynamic mix of high school leads, rising middle school talent, and a behind-the-scenes crew of dedicated BV students. Together, they’ve built a production bursting with energy, heart, and color.

Performances will take place at 901 Coover Road, Delaware on:

  • Friday, April 25 at 7 PM
  • Saturday, April 26 at 7 PM
  • Sunday, April 27 at 2 PM
