Another bit of the future has arrived in Delaware County through a new skill available on devices which utilize the Amazon Alexa virtual assistant.

Now, you can get answers to questions about programs and offerings from your local library.

Most commonly used with Amazon Echo devices, the Delaware County District Library skill is available on the Alexa Skills tab of your Echo interface. You can also verbally ask Alexa to “enable the Delaware County District Library Skill.”

Daily briefings from the library are also available; ask your device to “enable the Delaware County District Library Flash Briefing skill.” You have the option to connect that briefing to your preferred library branch.
