The premier fundraising event to support senior services in Delaware County, Shake, Rattle & Roll, takes place Friday, Sepember. 13 at SourcePoint, 800 Cheshire Road, Delaware. Performance Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Delaware is this year’s presenting sponsor.

SourcePoint is the county’s primary resource for professional expertise, services, and programs for adults 55 and older. SourcePoint provides in-home care services, such as Meals on Wheels and personal care, a 44,000-square-foot enrichment center, caregiver support, insurance education, and more—all to help local adults live well as they age.

Since its establishment in 1992, SourcePoint has benefitted from the support of the Delaware County community. As the older population continues to grow, the nonprofit relies on donations to bolster funding and fill the gaps. Private and corporate donations, such as those made at the annual fundraiser, support vital in-home services and community programs that promote healthy aging.

The 2019 fundraiser, Shake, Rattle & Roll, takes place Friday, Sept. 13, and features popular casino games, live and silent auctions, raffles and other games of chance, local food and drinks, DJ music, and more. Tickets are $75 per person if purchased before the end of August and include admission, food, two drink tickets, and $500 in funny money.

Tickets are available online at MySourcePoint.org/roll or at the customer service desk at 800 Cheshire Road, Delaware.

In addition to Performance Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Delaware, SourcePoint’s fall fundraiser is supported by gold sponsors Interim HealthCare and Jill Patricia King; silver sponsors Aetna Medicare offered by Creative Financial Insurance, First Commonwealth Advisors, and Treplus Communities; and bronze sponsors Fifth Third Bank, First Financial Bank, Hiram Lodge #18 F.&A.M., SERVPRO of Delaware, and V&P Hydraulic Products.

Arbors at Delaware, Bennington Glen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and The Villas Assisted Living, Country Club Rehabilitation Campus, the Ganzhorn Suites, Heartland Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, and Nothing Bundt Cakes, Westerville are generously providing food at the event. Additional food vendors are wanted. If interested, contact Alison Yeager, director of communications and development, at [email protected] or 740-363-6677.
