If were able to design it from scratch, what would you have in your ideal neighborhood park?

On September 24, you will have the chance to indulge in such an exercise as the City of Delaware hosts a Park Planning Open House at Veterans Park. Second Ward Councilmember Lisa Keller and Parks and Natural Resources Director Ted Miller invite residents to help create the City of Delaware’s next neighborhood park, which will be located at Boulder Drive and South Houk Road.

Give input on what you would like to see and do in the new park, as well as hear about possible park amenities, such as a one mile walking path, an obstacle course, and a natural play area.

The event will take place in the Shelter House between 6 and 8 PM.
