This Saturday, get inspired to play and explore the outdoors as Preservation Parks teams up with central Ohio outdoor organizations to present a day of free outdoor discovery.

Outdoor Exploration Expo 2018 will take place between 10 AM and 5 PM at Camp Lazarus, 4422 Columbus Pike in Delaware, and will allow visitors to learn new skills, try their hand at various outdoor activities, discover new hobbies, and connect with local outdoor organizations.

The day will kick off with a free 5K Trail Run that begins at 10 AM.

Activities will include: a trail run, paddle boarding and kayaking, bass fishing, archery, outdoor cooking classes, a boomerang demonstration, orienteering, backpacking 101, and many more activities. Throughout the day, programs will be available on letterboxing, “ten essentials of outdoor recreation,” Boy Scout activities, and learning about sling shots.

The entire event is free and open to the public. Food will be available for purchase from food trucks.
