UPTDATED:Downtown Delaware will be a mighty sweet place on Friday night from 6 PM to 9 PM, as Main Street Delaware celebrates “Love is in the Air” on First Friday.
Events to be included:
6 to 9 PM — LOVE where you live
Visit downtown shops and restaurants for a date night, time with friends, or the whole family to celebrate love.
6:30 PM — Witness a Wedding
Main Street is throwing a wedding! A previously selected winning couple, Nick and Bethany, will get married by Mayor Riggle inside Gather. The community is invited to attend and celebrate true love.
The wedding is made possible by Gather, Fresh Start, The Greater Gouda, Periwinkle Photography, What The Tux, Gibson the Florist, Tiny House Vintage and Art, Gather & Co. Weddings, Soundpost Official, Lauren Rivera at the Green Door Salon, Hannah Peters with HP Beauty and Mayor Riggle.
7 to 9 PM — Carriage Rides
Snuggle up with your love for a romantic carriage ride through the downtown. Rides are $15 per couple and will begin and end in front of The Strand Theatre, 28 E. Winter Street. Cost is $10 for adults, $15 for couples, and free for children aged 16 and younger.
7:30 pm — Vow Renewals
Join other couples getting their vows renewed, all at once, by Mayor Riggle.
