The City of Delaware’s Business Assistance Grant Program has its first recipient.

As shared on social media by Delaware City Economic Development, Olivina Taproom on South Sandusky Street in downtown Delaware has received a grant through the program, which is designed to assist city businesses impacted by COVID-19 and/or recent flooding.

The program was first discussed by City Council in late May, at which time strong support was shared by Council members for the initiative.

According to the social media post, which can be seen below, the grant deadline has also been extended to July 31.
