In its weekly Friday update, the Delaware General Health District presented updates on new orders and recommendations from the State of Ohio Department of Health.

Included were items on school sports; adult care and senior centers; nursing home and assisted living testing, and face shields. The latter concerns the face shield versus face mask question.

Numbers shared by the District included the following:

Confirmed cases — 1,000
Probable cases — 207
Recovered cases — 1,121
Total deaths — 13

Active cases, confirmed and probable — 173

Currently in isolation/quarantine — 626
Completed isolation/quarantine — 2,772
Currently hospitalized — 2
Total hospitalizations — 47

Additional updates include public school reopening plans and details on testing and tracing.
