Several days ago we shared news that Delaware Countians were about ready to get a quicker way to visit the Rocky Mountain West as Delta Airlines adds nonstop flights from Columbus to Salt Lake City. On Tuesday, a similar announcement was made – this time a different destination, a different airline, and even a different airport!
Allegiant announced nine new nonstop routes to Sarasota. Florida via Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) from: Asheville; Baltimore; Grand Rapids; Cleveland; Columbus; Harrisburg; Nashville; Richmond; and Syracuse.[widgets_on_pages id=1] “We’re excited to announce this unprecedented expansion in one of the newest destinations in our network – Sarasota,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue. “Sarasota offers world-renowned beaches, museums and dining, and we’re so excited to bring even more visitors to this amazing city.”
The new year-round routes to Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ)include one from Columbus via Rickenbacker Interntational Airport (LCK) beginning on April 4, 2019 with fares as low as $55.*
