Bargain shoppers in Delaware County have a new destination to explore: BINABLE, a retail bin store opened by The Alpha Group on June 21. Located at 1000 Alpha Drive, BINABLE offers more than just great deals; it provides meaningful opportunities for its employees and the community.
A Fresh Shopping Concept
BINABLE stands out with its unique pricing structure, which ensures a constantly changing inventory. The store purchases truckloads of items from overstock, liquidation, or returns and sells them individually. Every Friday, new items are introduced at $14, with prices dropping daily until everything is $1 on the following Thursday. This dynamic system keeps the selection fresh, making each visit an exciting treasure hunt for shoppers.
Supporting a Greater Cause
While BINABLE is a haven for bargain hunters, it also embodies the core mission of The Alpha Group. Founded in 1970, The Alpha Group is a 501c nonprofit organization dedicated to providing services for individuals with developmental disabilities in Delaware County and 12 other Ohio counties. These services include adult day programming, job searching, and on-the-job support.
BINABLE currently employs 11 people, with at least half of the staff being individuals with disabilities. This inclusive employment approach is central to The Alpha Group’s mission of empowering individuals toward independence and success.
Grand Opening Celebration
Although BINABLE has been open for several weeks, it will celebrate its grand opening on Friday, July 19. The store operates from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Tuesday through Friday and from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday. BINABLE is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
