It’s Delaware County’s newest “pop-up” store, and its designed to tempt the sweetest sweet tooth.

It’s called “Mmelo Boutique Confections,” and it has opened a kiosk in from the Apple store at Polaris Fashion Place mall (see image below).

According to the company website, “MMELO (pronounced Mellow), is a Columbus based, woman and minority owned small business dedicated to all natural, artisanal sweet treats and pastries. Combining our first love – Flavor – with traditional craft, wholefood ingredients and a healthy dose of experimentation, we offer high quality, dietary sensitive, decadent alternatives to the mainstream ‘junk food’ narrative.”

Curbside pick-up is available for online orders.

In addition to fine-crafted confections, Mmelo caters to special dietary requests, including vegan, gluten-free, and even dairy-free.

Mmelo started with a location near the North Market in downtown Columbus, and opened a new production and distribution center on Polaris Parkway shortly thereafter, concentrating on wholesale and online orders.

The company’s Facebook and Instagram pages are full of “eye candy,” brilliant and colorful examples of what’s on offer.
