The Delaware County Economic Development Office recently updated residents on the status of what it referred to as “…a big success.”

In a blog post, the office discussed the fact that Automation Tooling Solutions (ATS) is combing two current buildings into a new location in Lewis Center. The project will employ up to 145 people with an investment of $17 million.

That blog post can be read here.

According to the JobsOhio news release referred to the post, the jobs will be in management, engineering, technical, production, and administration. Hiring is anticipated to begin in the first quarter of 2020.

The new plant will “will focus on the manufacturing of power storage systems for automotive and industrial uses. It will also enable production of different types and sizes of machinery that current facilities cannot accommodate, thereby curbing growth,” according to JobsOhio.
