Cincinnati, Columbus tie for Ohio’s lowest metro-area unemployment rate in September

Cincinnati has pulled into a tie with Columbus for the Ohio metro area with the lowest unemployment rate.Both cities had jobless rates of 3.7% in September, according to Ohio Department of Job and Family Services data released Tuesday.Both cities saw declines from August, when Columbus was at 3.8% and Cincinnati at 3.9%.For years, the two cities have had the lowest rates among Ohio’s metro areas, with Columbus’ rate usually a bit lower.
