Columbus Gas is proposing to construct a new pipeline at a cost of $135 million, the Columbus Dispatch reported on Thursday. Called the Columbus Northern Loop project, one component would run from southern Delaware County to southwest Union County.

The company will be meeting with landowners and hopes to begin construction in 2022.
