A well known Delaware retail shopping complex is in new hands.

Glennwood Commons, located on Subury Road/US36/SR37, has been sold to a Delaware County company.

Most of the shopping center complex, which includes Meijer, Kohls, OfficeMax, and Dollar Tree was included in the sale. The 100,000 square foot center sold for $4.8 million.

The purchaser was Lewis Center-based Gosula Realty Ltd., which closed on the transaction on August 26.

Earlier this year, Delaware City Council approved a Final Development Plan which would see several new businesses added to Glennwood Commons, including a TJ Maxx and Hobby Lobby.

That new building will nearly double the size of the shopping complex.
