Polaris Fashion Place has just welcomed a new addition to its food court. Popeyes, the renowned fast-food chicken chain, started serving customers last week. Nestled between China Wok and Nori Japan, this new location is part of an exciting time of growth and expansion for the mall.

Founded in 1972 by entrepreneur and culinary innovator Al Copeland, Popeyes has more than 50 years of history and culinary tradition. Known for its unique New Orleans-style menu, Popeyes offers spicy chicken, tenders, fried shrimp, and other specialties that have made the brand famous worldwide. It’s chicken sandwich is nothing short of legendary.

The chain’s culinary heritage is built upon the rich Cajun and Creole flavor profiles unmistakably associated with Louisiana. With over 2,700 restaurants in the U.S. and around the world, Popeyes continues to draw upon and celebrate this heritage, inspiring new, authentic menu creations that the world craves.

Popeyes is not just famous for its flavorful food but also for igniting the chicken sandwich war several years ago with other fast-food chains, including Chick-Fil-A, which also has a location at Polaris. The chain released its chicken sandwich in the summer of 2019, and due to overwhelming demand, Popeyes temporarily ran out of chicken in less than two weeks. It took almost two months to restock and permanently bring back the sandwich, cementing its place in fast-food history.

With the new opening at Polaris Fashion Place, Popeyes now has 19 locations across central Ohio. This expansion reflects the brand’s commitment to providing its unique and flavorful food to more people. The combination of history, great food, service, and quality makes Popeyes restaurants genuine Louisiana Legends.

Whether you’re a fan of spicy chicken or curious about the flavors of New Orleans, the new Popeyes location offers a taste of something exciting and authentic.
