“Jim Loves a Blonde Ale” and “Mask Up” are waiting for you right now at Delaware County’s newest brewery, Spires Social Brewing Co.

The new venue had its grand opening this past weekend in its new 4,400 foot space, which includes a beautiful patio.

Owners Alex and Megan Spires chose the former home of the Claddagh Irish Pub at 8757 Sancus Blvd. for their new enterprise. The new brewery joins other new Delaware County breweries, two of which have opened in the recent past.

The brewery will feature four house beers as well as guest beers, mead, and ciders — even house brewed ginger ale! Music will be a regular feature as well.

The owners have noted on their Facebook page that social distancing and other health and safety measures are in place to protect customers and staff.
