The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission, better known as “MORPC,” has announced that the date for its annual main event has been set.

The 2019 State of the Region will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM on Thursday, April 18 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

State of the Region is one of Central Ohio’s most significant events of the year. At the 2019 State of the Region luncheon, the organization will highlight community accomplishments and showcase upcoming plans for leading the region into the future. State of the Region is attended by the region’s top political,business, and civic leaders at this year’s premier event.

According to its website, MORPC is an association of cities, villages, townships,counties and regional organizations serving Central Ohio. The organization takes pride in bringing communities of all sizes and interests together to collaborate on best practices and plan for the future of our growing region. This is done through a variety of programs, services, projects and initiatives – all with the goal of improving the lives of our residents and making Central Ohio stand out on the world stage.
