Tire Discounters, the largest independent, 100% family-owned tire and service retailer in the U.S., has opened its 15th Columbus-area location. The new store is located at 46 Polaris Parkway in Westerville, serving customers on the north side of Columbus.

“Customers have been asking us for a long time to open more Tire Discounters stores on the north side of Columbus,” says Charles Curlee, Vice President of Retail Sales. “We’re excited to make this happen and we’re ready to serve our customers here.”

The new Westerville location is the latest Tire Discounters store to open in the growing Columbus market. Outside of Cincinnati, Columbus is Tire Discounters’ second-largest market. The company now has over 140 locations.

According to Jamie Ward, Tire Discounters’ President and CEO, the company is growing quickly and adding stores in areas that don’t have access to a Tire Discounters location, noting that the company’s success is tied directly to how they treat customers. “As a family-owned and operated business, we treat our customers like family,” he says. “We give our customers the value and quality service they deserve. It’s that simple.”

Tire Discounters’ prioritization of customers and a focus on exceeding their expectations is one of the reasons why the company was recognized as Tire Dealer of the Year, a national industry award by Modern Tire Dealer Magazine.

“It’s truly a recognition of our dedication every day to delivering outstanding customer service,” Ward says. “The award specifically recognizes Tire Discounters for our commitment to customer satisfaction. We’re excited to show the Westerville community what this means.”

Known as the home of the free alignment, Tire Discounters offers a full range of automotive services, including free alignment with the purchase of four tires with standard installation. Customers who chose standard installation also enjoy perks like lifetime pressure adjustments, rotation and balancing in addition to warrantied parts and services.
