Delaware County tax-exempt organizations now have an opportunity to seek support for community-focused projects through the county’s 2026 Community Enhancement Grant Program. The Delaware County Commissioners have announced that applications are being accepted for the annual program, which provides project-specific grants to charitable agencies that are headquartered and operating within Delaware County. The funding comes from the county’s general fund and is awarded through a competitive application process.

Supporting Local Projects

The program has historically distributed about $225,000 each year to a wide range of local agencies. Grants are not issued as upfront payments. Instead, grant funds are distributed as reimbursements after invoices for completed projects are submitted.

That structure makes the program especially focused on clearly defined, project-based needs rather than general operating support.

How To Apply

Applications may be completed and submitted online. While the link currently listed on the county website is not working, the correct application link is available here:

The application link also includes information about program requirements. Organizations that need a hard copy of the application and requirements document may request one by emailing media@co.delaware.oh.us or calling 740-833-2109.

Applications must be submitted by 4:00 PM on July 9.
