Andrew Beare, Director of Operations for the City of Hilliard, has been appointed Assistant City Manager for the City of Delaware, effective December 16.
Beare brings an impressive background in public administration, with extensive experience in municipal governance, budget management, and interdepartmental collaboration.
In Hilliard, Beare oversees operations related to infrastructure, rights-of-way, facilities, public lands, fleet, and urban forestry management and maintenance. He also manages infrastructure maintenance and equipment acquisitions.
“Andrew has broad experience in local government management and a passion for public service. I am confident he will make a meaningful contribution to our team,” Delaware City Manager Paul Brake said in announcing the appointment.
