It’s the first Friday of the month in two days, and that brings a Main Street Delaware First Friday event to the streets of downtown Delaware.
This week, that means an opportunity to show off your miniature golf skills as you visit downtown businesses.
Obtain your scorecard and wristband at the new Delaware Welcome Center, 20 East William Street, and take it with you as you try the 18 holes. The best score will give you the opportunity to win a green “Main Street Masters” Championship Jacket. Earn the envy of your friends!
The evening also brings with it the 13th Annual ‘Walk A Mile In Her Shoes,” also at the Delaware Welcome Center. Learn about domestic violence and sexual abuse prevention, and get a free Walk a Mile t-shirt while there. This portion of the event is presented in connection with the Delaware County Coalition of Victim Services.
The fun takes place from 6 PM to 9 PM on Friday evening. Participation in the Putter event is just $5. Tickets are available online at this location.
Businesses in downtown Delaware will be following current health guidelines, so be sure to bring your mask and do your best social distancing.
