The latest addition to safety services in the City of Delaware is officially coming on line this Saturday during a Dedication and Open House at the new Station 304 of the City of Delaware Fire Department.

The City’s fourth station is located at 821 Cheshire, northwest of that street’s intersection with Glenn Avenue. It will be staffed by three firefighters at any given time.

This new facility was made possible the continuing funding authorized by voters in 2010 through a 0.3 income tax levy for fire services.
