Others tend to notice that as well.

Take MSN.com, for instance, which recently published a list of 30 “Unexpectedly awesome places to retire across America.”

Included among them was the city of Delaware.

The criteria for selection suggest that revitalized downtowns, cost of living, dining and shopping, and real estate options were at used to choose the communities.

In talking specifically about Delaware, MSN shared in part:

“City dwellers can enjoy downtown Delaware’s breweries, restaurants and shops. Low crime rates and low real estate prices make this Ohio college town one to check out.”
