Dublin’s Independence Day evening celebration will bring the community together Saturday, July 4, for a night of live music, family activities, food vendors and fireworks at Dublin Coffman High School. The annual celebration is designed as a full evening event, with entertainment, activities and viewing areas giving families several ways to enjoy the holiday before the fireworks light up the sky.

An Evening Built Around Music And Fireworks

This year’s entertainment lineup features The Wallflowers and Adam Sanders, adding a major live music draw to the July 4 celebration. Guests can also enjoy food vendors, open lawn seating, family activities and a festive community atmosphere throughout the evening. The event will culminate with a spectacular fireworks display, giving residents and visitors a classic Independence Day finale.

Admission And Seating Options

All guests age four and older will need either a stadium wristband or a reserved table wristband to enter Dublin Coffman High School Stadium.

Stadium wristbands provide access to the stadium and bleacher seating. Reserved table wristbands are required for guests who want access to the reserved table area on the field. Open lawn seating will also be available, giving attendees another way to enjoy the evening.

Kids Zone Offers Unlimited Play

Families with younger children can take advantage of the Kids Zone, which is recommended for ages 2 to 11. A Kids Zone wristband allows unlimited play on the inflatables from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Only children using the inflatables need wristbands; supervising adults do not need Kids Zone wristbands.

A Kids Zone wristband does not include admission to the stadium, so families planning to enter the stadium will need to purchase separate stadium wristbands. Because quantities are limited and likely to sell out, residents and school district residents are encouraged to purchase Kids Zone wristbands in advance. Each household may purchase up to five Kids Zone wristbands online or at the Dublin Community Recreation Center.

America 250 Takes Center Stage

This year’s table decorating contest will carry an “America 250” theme, tying the local celebration to the nation’s upcoming semiquincentennial. Guests planning to participate should review the contest rules and eligibility requirements in advance.

Plan Ahead For July 4

Those attending are encouraged to check the full schedule, performer lineup, entry guidelines, prohibited items and viewing information before arriving.

With live music, children’s activities, food, seating options and fireworks, Dublin’s Independence Day evening celebration offers a full holiday experience at Dublin Coffman High School.
