Genoa Township officials are planning to construct a 1,400 foot long multi-use trail, and they are looking for public input in the planning process.

The trail as proposed is on the west side of Worthington Road from Braymoore Drive to approximately 100 north of Jaccox Road. On both ends it will meet with trail segments.

Identified environmental impacts include the loss of 50 individual trees and the disturbance of what is referred to as “common terrestrial vegetation” (shrubs, hedges, etc.).

The construction will require that the Township acquire a permanent easement over the affected area.Genoa Township is again seeking public feedback.
