There’s something unique about watching a film without a roof over your head. It’s an experience not to be missed.

Fortunately, Delaware County movie lovers have the opportunity to do so without traveling far from home. Movie Nights in Galena showcases films this summer under the starry skies above this part of central Ohio.

For three evenings each summer neighbors come together at McNamara Park to watch a movie under the stars. Bring a picnic, chair, blanket, bug spray and family for a new release that starts at dusk. Free popcorn is provided.

If rain is forecasted, the Township will make the decision to cancel the event by 3:00 PM and will post the decision to this website and on the Township’s Facebook page.

  • August 10 – Lego Movie 2 (NOTE: the date was printed incorrectly in the July/August newsletter)
