Today we have two new places to recommend that are making a splash in a hot Delaware County summer.

The first is the fantastically-named Blue Santa Mexican Grill, a Mexican-style restaurant which recently opened at 1025 Polaris Parkway. The location is behind the Polaris Krispy Kreme location.

The wide-ranging menu at Blue Santa include specialty items such as Ceviche Tropical, the Blue Agave Bowl, and Fajitas Nachos Chicken. Other menu items include tacos, fajitas, enchiladas, and chimichangas.

Your favorite liquid refreshments are available as well.

Lunchtime meals are available for as low as $9.99 including soft drinks.

Several miles to the north, last weekend saw the opening of the new Sticky Fingers Ice Cream Parlor & Bakery.

This is the second Sticky Fingers location in the county, the other one opened six years ago in Galena. The setting for the new eatery is The Ohio House, one of the restored, renovated, and redesigned period properties that comprise The Kilbourne Project.

We have covered the Project in previous 1808Delaware posts, including this one:

The Kilbourne Revival Continues

Ice cream treats and baked goods abound at Sticky Fingers. For a visual sampling of what’s on offer, visit their Instagram Page. Warning– you may be compelled to make an immediate trip to 3967 Main Street in Kilbourne!
