The 2020 Summit On Sustainability, Central Ohio’s most recognized environmental conference, will be held virtually on October 15 and 16.

The event is hosted by the Mid Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC), which brings together community leaders to explore and share sustainable ideas and solutions.

This year’s conference has a new look to maximize participant, speaker, and organizer safety. With a virtual format, MORPC has partnered with the Atlanta Regional Commission to provide the best speakers from and coverage about the Columbus and Atlanta metropolitan regions.

Session and plenary topics will include references to air water quality, mobility, development, materials management, land use, social equity and the current political environment, among other topics.

Sessions will be held on Thursday, October 15 from Noon to 4:45 PM, and then again on Friday, October 16 from 10 AM to 1 PM.
The Conference will also be the forum for presenting the Regional Sustainability Awards, which include the Leadership in Sustainability Award, the Collaborative Achievement in Sustainability Award, and the Leadership in Mobility Award.

More information and online registrations is available here.
