On Tuesday, June 13 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM you are invited to undertake a trip of sorts –gastronomically-speaking, that is — through the heart of downtown Delaware.

The event,  presented in a pub-crawl style, offers an opportunity to sample the diverse flavors and culinary talents for which the city is known.

Participants will be given eight coupons, each of which can be exchanged for a taste of food from a variety of restaurants around downtown. These local culinary hotspots will feature a special bite, a unique menu item, or a special drink. Whether you’re a foodie or simply looking for a great way to spend a Tuesday evening, this event promises an unforgettable dining experience.

This will be an interactive and immersive culinary experience, unlike any other. Each restaurant will open its doors, allowing you to step inside for your tasting. This unique approach will give you a glimpse into the kitchens and dining spaces of some of Delaware’s most amazing restaurants.

Participating restaurants include not only some of the newest additions to the local food scene but also seasoned venues taking part for the first time.

Each ticket costs $40. Depending on the serving size, venues may ask for one or two coupons. Additional coupons can be purchased on the night of the event for just $2 per coupon. The tickets are available for purchase from any Delaware Rotarian or online.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Delaware Rotary Foundation with a portion directed to local charities. However, we must caution that tickets are limited. Given the popularity of past events organizers expect to sell out quickly, so be sure to secure your tickets early.

Among the many venues participating are: Amato’s Woodfired Pizza, Bun’s Restaurant, Ciao Cafe, Hamburger Inn, Inspire Nutrition, J.Gumbo’s, Mi Cerrito, NYC Deli Mart, Oak & Brazen, LLC, Old Bag of Nails Pub, Opa Grille & Tavern, Restoration Brew Worx, Solar Saloon, Staas Brewing Company, The Backstretch, The Rutherford Café’, The Strand, Typhoon Asian Fusion Bistro, Whit’s Frozen Custard, and Yokai Ramen Bistro.

This event offers a fantastic opportunity to experience downtown Delaware’s vibrant dining scene. So mark your calendar for June 13 and join us for a memorable evening of tasting and exploration.
