What is full of great ideas for close-to-home winter fun and can be accessed with a couple of clicks?

If you guessed the Winter 2019-2020 Program & Events Guide from Preservation Parks, you’re excactly correct.

This season’s Guide reminds readers and park visitors, “While much of nature hibernates through the chilly winter months, there is still plenty of activity with Preservation Parks. With interactive programs all season long, this winter is sure to be one to remember…”

In addition to an overview of the many educational opportunities and other events held in the system’s parks, the Guide has special areas profiling activities at Gallant Farm and the new Winter Wonderland Letterbox experience. Also featured are a “Bird Bonanza” section and “Snowy Strolls,” hikes and walks for kids, adults, and seniors.

This year’s theme at Preservation Parks focuses on forests — their beauty, ecology, and benefits to humans.
