600 years of history in 6000 seconds … history will never be the same as the Big Walnut High School Theatre Department presents “The Complete History of America: Abridged.”
“From Washington to Watergate, yea verily from the Bering Straits to Baghdad, from New World to New World Order – The Complete History of America Abridged is a ninety-minute rollercoaster ride through the glorious quagmire that is American history.”–Broadway Play Publishing Inc.
According to the New York Times, the play “… interprets the past as a breathlessly paced sequence of silly vaudeville sketches, word-association games, puns and crude parodies of movie and television genres.”
The performances will take place on Thursday, January 30 and Saturday, February 1 at Big Walnut High School, 555 S. Old 3C Highway in Sunbury. Doors open at 6:30 PM with curtain time at 7:00 PM.
Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $8 for students, and $8 for seniors 65 and older.
