Now that spring is officially here, even if the temperatures don’t seem to be spring-like quite yet, thoughts naturally turn to the typical events of the season.

Including, of course, Easter and the numerous Easter egg hunts that take place during the week or two before the holiday.

The first local Easter Egg Hunt notice appeared this week from the City of Powell. The Powell Community Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, April 13 at 10 AM in the Village Green Park in downtown Powell.

Don’t be late, however – the event lasts only about ten minutes!

The fun will take place rain or shine, hot or cold – just be sure to bring your own basket to fill.

This event is sponsored by Powell United Methodist Church.
